I have run into a very annoying issue installing a Canon printer.
I am trying to install a Canon i-SENSYS MF244dw AIO Printer onto 5 laptops for one of my teams. When I run the installer it prompts for UAC admin credentials which I enter (My M365 Entra ID and password) - and the installer proceeds to run the extraction, it then launches the installer. I get to the point of selecting USB Connection or Network connection and I get an error sayng
"You do not have sufficient privileges to install the program. Log on again with administrator privileges"
I get the same message when right clicking the installer and running as admin, and even more annoyingly I also get the same message when logging into my Global Administrator account on the laptop.
Please can someone advise here as It's driving me spare trying to get a simple printer and scanner app installed.
