Hi lightingthunder,

I would make sure that grayscale is not selected in the print driver. You would need to open printer properties and the right click on the printer icon and selecting printing preferences. Once there, make sure grayscale is not checked.

I also replied in your other post about grayscale and the misaligned text and nozzle check. Were you able to perform the alignment?

If you are still having alignment and the black ink issue, please contact Canon at 1-800-OK-CANON (1-800-652-2666), Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM EST(excluding holidays).

where is print black only option in windows

Hi lightingthunder,

The PIXMA G3000 series printer cannot be set to print using only the black ink.
