print on legal paper

I am trying to print info from a thumb drive ,which is inserted into my laptop, using my Pixma MX920. When I select print on the screen, a printer page opens up and I am not offered a choice of Legal size paper on the onscreen guidelines for using the printer.

I have inserted legal size paper in the printer but the printout does not have all the info that is shown on my screen.

Does nyone have a suggestion?

Thanks!

Jason, I am using Windows 8

This inability to print  using legal size paper is really bugging me. As mentioned in previous posts, I want to take info from a thumb drive and print on legal paper. Operating system is Windows 8.

As most of you know there is no choice for "legal" as a size page when one has a chance to select paper size before printing.

I hope someone on this forum can come up with a solution.

Hi rhinocue

Are you trying to select the size and type of  paper in the print settings on the printer operation panel or from the computer's printer driver.  You should be able to select the size and type of paper within the printer driver for the MX922.
