I saw others had this issue and it was suggested to reset the printer and the computer, i have done that with no luck.
What are other trouble shooting techniques to get this printer back online?
The printer acts like it is doing some kind of operation that wont let a print job through

Hi, Bill i have a mx490 and it as the same message on it "please wait a while" . i have windows 10 how can i fix this and it is wireless. thank you

Try restarting your PC. While the computer restarts, you may have to unplug the power from the printer in order to clear the "please wait" message.
