Did you mean:

pixma mg5720 has no driver

I bought a pixma mg5720 printer.  It worked, then stopped working.  I deleted drivers to try to get a fresh start.   I get a message, from Apple, that software for this printer is unavailable.  Then on Canon support site I see that there is no driver either.    Is it that their printers are so cheap they expect you to just throw them away after 3 months?  Does anybody know of a driver for this printer, and how to install it?

Hi morriehross,

As long as you are using Mac Mac OS X v10.7.5 or later, the driver and software for your PIXMA MG5720 are available for download from Canon's web site. To access the downloads, please use the following link:

https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support/details/printers/inkjet-multifunction/mg-s...

Or follow these steps:

1. Visit Canon's website at: http://usa.canon.com/support

2. Type PIXMA MG5720 in the "Enter a Model Name" box and click the Get Drivers & Downloads button.

The drivers and software can be found under the "Recommended Downloads", "Drivers" and "Software" links.
