not printing

My Canon MX892 keeps giving an error message.  I followed the instructions--unplug-then plug in and start.  Still won't work.  I removed the paper and tried again.  I purchased new ink cartridges and it still won't print.  Continue to get same error message with no luck.  Any suggestions?

What error message are you receiving?  Also, are you able to perform copies directly from the printer?
