PIXMA MX922 Has Quit Printing

Our 2 year old MX922 has quit printing; it started with not printing pdf files and now won't print anything. It worked fine until about 2 weeks ago, and nothing was installed around that time. Ink levels are good, and I've installed driver updates from Canon. Any help? Thanks.

After deep cleaning the print head and test printed on my 2 year old MX922, the printer shuts down without me physically turning it off, then when I try to turn back on, the copy light flashing blue and the LCD screen turned white with no messages, and the rest of the lights such as OK button etc were off, no wireless light on either. Is there any way to fix it myself without having my printer shipped to a service center? I live in Hawaii.

Try unplugging the power for about 25-30 minutes to see if this will resolve the issue.

Thanks for the response Hawaiianeskimo1. The issue was resolved with 2 deep cleanings!

My MX922 printer will not print either.  It makes all the noise like it is going to print, feeds the paper through, and it comes out blank everytime.  It is not low on ink as I just replaced all of the ink cartridges.  Please help!

Deep cleaning, twice, worked for me. And it's still working well! Good luck.

Please make sure that all of the ink tanks are inserted correctly and each ink tanks' light is lit.

 

Perform up to 3 deep cleanings,

 

If you are still not able to print, your PIXMA MX922 would require service.  You are eligible for Canon's Upgrade Program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service, or for some reason are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This option allows you a one-time opportunity to purchase a replacement product, discounted from the list price.
