error 5100

Hello,

 

Error 5100 comes up on my canon printer. I changed the low ink and there is no jams. It is MX439 printer.  Can you help?

Hi Susan12,

 

You can also try cleaning the encoder strip and resetting the printer. Please click HERE for the article that will cover these steps. The article is for a MX432 but the steps are the same for your MX439.

 

If that does not resolve your issue, the printer will need to be replaced since it is out of service life.
