can't print color

So my canon pixma mg2922 has both black ink and color ink lights on and it's only supposed to have one of those on and I don't know how to fix that. also when i print out pictures since both the ink lights are on they don't turn out in full color. what should i do?!!

Hi yazmineee,

 

A test of your PIXMA MG2922 should be performed. This will tell us if your PIXMA MG2922 is working correctly. To do this, please load letter-sized paper in the PIXMA MG2922 and follow these steps:

 

1. Make sure that your PIXMA MG2922's power is turned on.

 

2. Load a sheet of A4 or Letter-sized plain paper in the rear tray.

 

3. Pull out the paper output tray and the output tray extension.

 

4. Hold down the Stop button until the Alarm lamp flashes once, then release it immediately.

 

The nozzle check pattern will be printed.

 

Does the test page that you just printed match the example below?
