Why did Canon remove the rear paper feeder from all newer models?

The rear paper feeder is the most jam free means to use and print multiple sizes and paper weights of envelopes and letters, including glossy, super glossy, matt pictures, and  business cards or labels.  Every front paper tray jams with many heavy papers, many letter sizes, and feeds muklriple sheets for each page of light weight paper and has many jams.  Grom a users standpoint the lack of a rear paper feeder means an end to using what they need to do and outsourcing at an exorbant price when the now missing rear paper feeder could solve their printing needs,

Removal of the rear paper feeder was a huge marketing mistake that caused many to see a mfg who made rear paper feeders and also cost Canon  the loss of more sales of canon ink, Baad move guys. ,
