Hi!

To have a better understanding of your issue, please let everyone know the model of the printer you have.

If this is a time-sensitive matter, our US-based technical support team is standing by, ready to help at 1-800-OK-CANON (1-800-652-2666).

Thanks!

Ok sorry. My canon printer is a PIXMAMA MX432 and I would like to know what U163 means, The ink definitely is leaking--from a recycled fairly new cartridge. I suppose I have to just buy a new cartridge and hope nothing is ruined with the ink all over the place.
thanks.

Hi rickey21,

I understand you have a PIXMA MX432 displaying support code U163. This support code indicates the ink has run out. However, I also note that the ink may have leaked inside the unit. Is it possible to provide information or images on the leakage? There is an ink absorber in the bottom back of the unit that may look like a sponge. Any additional details may be helpful.

Not sure how to send a picture.  Sorry and thanks for your help.

I will get a new cartridge and try again. thanks everyone.
