The paper jam of MG3620 has been cleared, but it still prompts: 1303 paper jam.

This printer has been bought for more than a year and is rarely used. It has only printed more
than 30 pages。

A paper jam occurred during duplex printing recently. Open the back cover and take out the
entire paper. It still prompts when printing again:1303, paper jam.

Cannot boot because of a paper jam.

The warning indicator flashes 3 times, then pauses for 2 seconds, then flashes 3 more times,
and pauses for 2 seconds. Keep
repeating

Check that there is no paper debris inside.

Open the front cover and find that the ink cartridge is stopped on the left. Press the "power
button" to turn on, the ink cartridge will move to the right, then back to the left, and then
stop.

Press the power button when power on, and the ink cartridge will move from left to right and
then from right to left. Only move once and stop on the left.

Now the printer has stopped working. A printer that feels pretty good, there will be no major
failures. Hope to get technical guidance here.
Thank you!

Greetings,

One step you might have missed.  Power off and disconnect from power.  Reconnect and repower the device.

Thank you for your reply.
When a paper jam occurred at that time, a prompt appeared on the computer: 1303, paper jam,
and there was an illustration to guide the method of removing the jammed paper. I follow the
method shown in the figure: 1. Take out the front paper (the paper to be printed), 2. Stand
the printer on its side, open the back cover from the back, and carefully remove the jammed
paper. 3. Place the printer flat and press the lower left button (color) to start the printer.

It was only when the power plug at the back suddenly fell off when the printer was standing on
its side. I noticed that the plug fits loosely with the printer socket, and it fell off with a
slight pull. Obviously this caused an "unnormal shutdown"!

I don't know what the consequences of this "abnormal shutdown" will cause. After consulting
the manual, it is explained that this "unnormal shutdown" may make the printing blurred. I
guess it may cause chaos in the motherboard program, so I plan to restore the machine to
factory settings.

he manual describes how to restore to factory settings: press and hold the "stop" button, let
it go when the power light flashes 21 times. But the operation failed: when the "stop" button
is pressed, the power light does not flash. The fault indicator light flashes 3 times as
before, pauses for 2 seconds, and then repeats.

I hope the technical staff of Canon community can give me suggestions. Maybe your words can save the dead
printer. Although bought more than a year, but only a few times.
