I just purchased a TS8060 printer & want to scan multiple pages using the rear feeder to email in only 1 email.

Is this possible with this printer/scanner?

Hi Lindamac2911,

The PIXMA TS8060 does not have a rear feed tray for feeding documents to be copied or scanned; the rear feed tray is only for feeding paper to be printed on in the unit.  More information on loading paper in the rear feed tray can be found here.

Although the printer does not have a rear feed tray for feeding documents to be scanned, you can scan a multipage document in by loading each page of the document individually on the platen glass of the printer, and then save it as a single PDF file that can be sent via email using the ATTACH TO EMAIL feature of the IJ Scan Utility program that comes with the printer.

To scan an document and send it via email, you will first need to configure the ATTACH TO EMAIL settings in the IJ Scan Utility program.  To do this, please follow the steps shown here.  Once the Attach to Email settings have been set, please follow the steps shown here to scan an item in using the ATTACH TO EMAIL function of the printer.

Please note, the Attach to Email function can only be used with email programs that are installed locally on your computer; it cannot be used to send items via a web-based email service.  If sending a document via a web-based email service, you will need to scan the document in and save it to your computer, then use the web-based email service's attach feature to navigate to the location of the scanned file and attach it manually to your email message.

Hope this helps!  Should you need further assistance, we ask that you please contact a Canon technical support representative here for further assistance.  A representative will be happy to assist you free of charge.
