Please try the following:
1. Click on the Windows Start button in the lower left corner.
2. In the list of programs, click on the Canon Utilities folder.
3. Click on the IJ Scan Utiltiy to open that program.
4. Once the IJ Scan Utility is open, please click either the Document button or the Photo button.
