TR4520 Unable to print or scan error 2110

pwrichcreek

When I try to scan or print it keeps telling me to select the type of envelope I want to print and giving error code 2110. I don't want to print an envelope, I want to print on 8x11 paper. I've tried removing and re-adding the printer. That didn't change anything.

Hi pwrichcreek,

When you get a 2110 error, we recommend checking the paper settings. The easiest way to do that is to pull out the lower tray and push it back in. You will find illustrated instructions in steps 1 through 7 of the following link:

 https://ij.manual.canon/ij/webmanual/Manual/All/TR4500%20series/EN/UG/ug-200.html     .

After you push the tray in (step 8), you will see a message about registering the paper. Please press the OK button on the printer when you see that message. Then, you can use the screen that follows to make sure that the correct paper size and type are selected (steps 9 and 10). Please make sure that "letter-size" is selected as the SIZE and "plain paper" is selected as the TYPE.

When you have finished completing the steps in the above mentioned article, please make sure that the paper settings are correctly set at the computer (if printing). Should you continue to have trouble, please reply or call our toll-free number for support (1-800-652-2666). You will find more information about the 2110 error in the manual. Here is the link:

https://ij.manual.canon/ij/webmanual/ErrorCode/TR4500%20series/EN/ERR/2110.html?ref=2110  .

Thanks for choosing Canon.
