Scan multipage document in one file MG3600

VT-Tree

I have series of 4 drawings/pages I want to scan into one document on my new PIXMA MG3600. There is no feed, just the glass. I don't see any "add a page" ability. What am I missing? How can I do this? Thanks!

Hi VT-Tree,

You can use the IJ Scan Utility to scan multiple pages and save them as a single PDF.  To do this, please follow these steps:

1.  Click on the Windows Start button.

2.  In the menu that appears, click on the Canon Utilities folder.

3.  In that folder, click on the IJ Scan Utility.

4.  Place the first page face down on the scan glass.

5.  Click the Document button.

6.  Once that page has finished scanning, a box will appear.  Place the next page face down on the scan glass and click the Scan button on the box that appeared.

7.  When all pages are done, click Exit and the PDF will be created.

If you are using a Mac:

1.  Click one time on your desktop so Finder appears in the upper left corner.

2.  To the right of Finder, click on Go and then Applications.

3.  In the Applications folder, open the Canon Utilities folder.

4.  Click on the IJ Scan Utility to open that application.

5.  Place the first page face down on the scan glass.

6.  Click the Document button.

7.  Once that page has finished scanning, a box will appear.  Place the next page face down on the scan glass and click the Scan button on the box that appeared.

8.  When all pages are done, click Exit and the PDF will be created.
