Re: Issues Scanning to Mac

I have a Pixma MG6250 which has generally worked well over the years. However, I now have a problem scanning over wifi to my Mac (OS 10.13.6). When I scan from the printer I get a message saying 'Processing...............Please wait momentarily' for about 20 seconds before it reverts to the scan screen (without having scanned). What is puzzling is that I can scan from my Mac by going into System Preferences/Printers & Scanners and requesting a scan from there. Any idea why I cannot scan from my Pixma?
