Pixma mx722 not printing

Getting Printer Error code C000 in message screen.  I rebooted, same message.  Paper and toner are full.  No issues since it was new.  Printing via LAN in my home.  Is there a simple diagnostic/fix, or is this printer unrepairable?

Hi Pixmx722,

Please turn your PIXMA MX722 off.  Wait a fwe moments and turn it back on.

When your PIXMA MX722 starts making internal noises (like something is moving), please disconnect the power cord.

Once disconnected, please open the cover and move the print carriage to the middle and remove the ink tanks.

After the inks are removed, please leave them out and close the cover.

Reconnect the power cord and turn your printer on.

You should now get a 1660 error because the ink are not installed.  Please open the cover and reinsert the ink.  Please make sure that each ink tank clicks into place and close the cover.

If the C000 error returns, your PIXMA MX722 would require service.  You are eligible for Canon's Upgrade Program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service, or for some reason are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This option allows you a one-time opportunity to purchase a replacement product, discounted from the list price.
