Pixma MG8220 small business card jammed HELP!!!

AbbeG

I was trying to print information on the back of a business card. The card got jammed and I can't even see it to remove it... 😞 I tried removing the bottom paper feed tray, nothing there.

I've opened the printer like I would replace ink and I can not see the card. I even opened the back feeder section and can't see any paper there. Help!!! is there a way to open the unit up further to find the card???

I love this printer scanner it has served me well and I don't want to chuck it for a little business card stuck inside!

Thanks in advance!

Thank you I had already been to that site. I can't even see the business card. I brought the unit to a printer repair shop. They will need to open up the unit. I was hoping to be able to do this myself.

Hi AbbeG,

Because you were not able to remove the jammed paper using the guide that Mike provided, your PIXMA MG8220 would require service. You are eligible for Canon's Upgrade Program.  This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service, or for some reason are incompatible with a new or upgraded system.  This option allows you a one-time opportunity to purchase a replacement product, discounted from the list price.

To help you get up and running quickly, we also offer free standard shipping (if the order is completed by 12:30PM ET).  If you would like to take part in this option, please call our Sales Department at (866) 443-8002 seven days a week, 8am to Midnight.  Let them know you have been working with technical support and the Canon Upgrade Program was offered.
