Just loaded a fresh 745XL black cartridge bought from Amazon with the original Canon packing and it did not work even after repeated nozzle cleaning and deep cleaning. However when I did the print head alignment, it printed  very well.

My color cartridge is empty but I am printing in black only.

Very funny, probably best to avoid Canon.
