PIXMA TS9520 printer-computer issue

I have installed my Pixma ts9520 printer and the message is "installation successful."  It will print the test print from my computer and both are connected to the same router, wirelessly, however, it won't print from the computer or scan to the computer.  I believe the problem is that I don't have permission to access the file which connects the two but I don't know which file I'm looking for.  Can you help?

What version of Windows is installed on your computer?   If you are using a Mac, what version of OSX is installed?

 

When you attempt to print, what error appears?

 

When you attempt to scan, what error code appears at the bottom of the error message?
