PIXMA TS9120 Giving Error Message for Disk Tray when Trying to Print from iPhone

mcrosby57

I uninstalled old driver and installed most recent on for the Windows Laptop and now the printer message is telling me I need to insert a disc when I try to print from my iPhone.  I just printed from the iPhone a few days ago without any issues.  I have no disc.

There is nothing in the manual about turning off the disc to enable it to print from iPhone.

I have iPhone Sx with all up to date software.  There has not been a software update for at least a week.

Wifi is fine.  Prints from Windows laptop perfectly.

Suggestions?

Hi mcrosby57,

On your iPhone, please open Safari.

Once a web page opens, please tap arrow.png

When the menu appears, please tap Print or print.png

On the next page, tap Select Printer

In the next window, does your PIXMA TS9100 series appear?

If so, please select it and then tap Print.

Are you able to print from Safari?

This was happening to me as well until I noticed that under options (after I selected that I wanted to print on my selected printer) 120 x 120 optical disc was selected and I simply chose A4 plain paper instead! I was printing from my iPhone as well. Sucks I didn’t get to you in time but I hope this helps someone.
