Operation panel on TS8322

Is this panel suspose to close itself at some time after printing?  It opens itself and it would make sense that it should close itself.

Thanks!

Hi Leeell,

The operation panel does not close by itself, it must be done manually.

Greetings,

The motorized opening is documented.  I'm not sure about closing.

Look at ECO settings on page 246 of your user guide

Auto power off.  I believe the default is 240min.  Try decreasing this duration and see if the panel closes.  The countdown timer is reset each time the printer is used.  So it needs to sit idle during countdown.  Appreciate if you could confirm this and post your results.

Couldn't find anything in the manual about the operation panel self closing.  Lowered the shutoff time to see if it would and it didn't.  I can only assume that this is not a feature in this printer model.  Just seems odd though that it isn't.

Thanks for the info.
