Hi, I have a PIXMA MG6660 connected to 2 different macs.

Both running OSX El Captain

Mine mac is running 10.13.1 I am able to access the grayscale otption through the Quality/Media tab

My wife is running 10.11.6 (just updated) and the is no grayscale option under Quality/Media (or anywhere else). I've just uninstalled/re-installed the divers on her mac and still no luck.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Leigh

Hi lms981,

As you know, your MG6620 is capable of printing in grayscale:

http://ugp01.c-ij.com/ij/webmanual/PrinterDriver/M/MG6600%20series/1.0/EN/PPG/dg-c_monochrome.html

Please remove the printer from System Preferences/Printers & Scanners by clicking the [-] at the bottom.

Once removed, please download and install the latest driver from Canon's website:

1.  Visit Canon's website at: http://usa.canon.com/support

2.  Type PIXMA MG6620 in the "enter a model" box and click GO.

3.  Click the Select button next to MG6600 series CUPS Printer Driver Ver.16.20.0.0 (Mac).

4.  Click the Download button.

Once the file has been downloaded, please double click it to install the driver.
