Mp560 error

Milie
Apprentice
Hi,

My mp560 has a fault and I don't know how to fix.

I was printing and the dreaded b200 code came up and stopped the printer printing.

At first the printer wouldn't power on. It recently did and dislayed the b200 code again.

Now the printer will not get to the menu screen, it just shows the canon logo for a few secs the switches off. I can enter service mode but it doest show a menu or say idle, and powers off after a few seconds,

When switching the on button the green light comes on for a split second, the orange light comes on and is solid, it then powers down without reaching the menu.

Hi Milie,

The B200 is a general hardware failure code and the printer would require service.

Replacing the printer would be more cost effective and you do qualify for the Canon Upgrade program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service or are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This program allows you the opportunity to purchase a replacement product discounted from the list price. Free ground shipping is included with your purchase.

If you would like to take advantage of this offer, please call our Sales Department at (866) 443-8002 seven days a week, 8 AM to midnight EST. Let them know you have been working with technical support and that the Canon Upgrade Program was offered.
