MX920 PGBK not printing

Hi,

 

PGBK has stopped printing whether I'm doing a nozzle check, regular or deep cleaning, or printing normal text.  So far I have:

 

  • replaced all cartridges
  • reseated the print head as per ART143853 - Reseat or Replace the Print Head on a PIXMA MX722, MX922
  • Updated all drivers.

Unless there's a solution for this, I'll swear off Canon printers and opt for something else.

Hello Paquinjrm,

 

If you have tried replacing the tanks reseating the print head and performing cleanings, it looks like there is something wrong with the hardware. You can try performing up to 3 deep cleanings to see if you can get the color to start spraying out of the print head nozzles. If you have already performed that many, it looks like there is something wrong with the print head or the printer.

 

In this situation, you can check with our parts team at 1-866-481-2569 to purchase a replacement print head. It should resolve the issue, but I can't guarantee it since there is a small chance that there is something wrong with the hardware on the MX922.
