I am using Windows 7 and have multiple PCs at home. No problem printing, but when scanning directly from the pringter, it does not seem to "see" any of the computers on the network. I have tried disabling and the resetting the printer up on the network and nothing seems to fix the discovery problem..
Any suggestions? All the PCs on the network are discoverable

Hi reginab9,
You will need to have the IJ Network Scanner Selector EX program running on your computer to scan over the network. To ensure that it is running, please go to your Start menu, then select All Programs> Canon Utilities > IJ Network Scanner Selector EX > IJ Network Scanner Selector EX.
When the IJ Network Scanning Selector EX is running, it will show in the task tray of your computer like this:
More information on scanning over the network can be found here.
Hope this helps!
