MX720 printer

Will not longer print from the bottom cassette which is loaded with paper.  Message reads "there is no  paper inthe upper cassette; load paper; align; press OK.   I do not want to print from the upper cassette.

Hello.

The printer is attempting to feed from the upper cassette due to the paper size that was selected.  Check the settings in your software to ensure that the Letter paper size is chosen before printing.

Hi Michael,

Do you know how to solve the problem of the Pixma MX726 that is not recognizing the blue cartridge. This is a new genuine cartridge. I have tried to reinsert the old cartridge after turning off the power at the switch and the same with the new cartridge. This machine is about 15mths old. I hope you can shed some light on how to solve my dilema.
