MX532 ADF stopped working

My MX532 ADF (automatic document feeder)  will no longer work.   I've used it a lot with no issue, but it stopped pulling in the paper.   I've looked online for troubleshooting, but am not finding anything.

To narrow down this issue, we will need to gather some more information. Please reply with the answers to the following:

 

  1. Are you trying to make a two sided copy or scan?
  2. Does any error appear when you try to use the ADF?
  3. Are  you using Windows or Mac?
  4. Was there any type of paper jam before this issue started?

1. Single side scan

2. No Error message on the printer, get a message on the screen that there is a paper jam.

3. Using Windows

4.  Yes, paper was jamming.  I'd hit OK a couple times and it'd go through.

 

One odd thing, I went to try again and unknown to me, there was a piece of card stock on the glass.... the ADF worked for about 10 pages.     I cleared the jam, tried again and it worked for another few pages.
