MP 620 B200 Error +

In attempting to clear the B200 message, I find that opening the cover does NOT set the print cartridges to the center (as usual) for ready access.  Is there some way to do this?  Thank you!

Hi jealho57,

The B200 is a general hardware failure error. I recommend performing a reset of the printer. While the printer is on, unplug the power cord from the printer and let it sit for 60 seconds. While the power is off, press the power button 5 times. After 60 seconds plug the power cord back in and power on the printer.

If that does not resolve the error, the printer will need to be replaced because it was retired in 2014 and service is not longer available.

You do qualify for the Canon Upgrade Program.

Thank you, Arthur!  I'll try that right away.

Still showing B200.  Is there a way to 'release' the printer tanks so that I may check them?  This all started when I replaced the ink.   Thank you!
