I recently upgraded my OS to El Capitan on my iMac. The print function works just fine but when I try to scan I get a message the the printer is turned off or the USB cable is not hooked up. I have double checked the connections and verified that it is attached. I have driver Version 13.7.1.0 installed.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Jon

Hello.
Check to make sure that the correct model has been selected in the IJ Scan Utility program. This program controls the scanner.
After opening the program, make sure that the 'Network' version is selected in the dropdown menu at the top of the program.

Michael,
Thank you for the information. When I followed your directions the only option at the dropdown menu was "Canon MG6600 Series" and nothing about Network version.
Thanks!
Jon
