MG5520 sets up documents for print, cycles thru the right number of sheets, but all are blank. Why?

Hello,

My Canon PIXMA MG5520 printer has the following problem -

When I set up a document for print on my PC (Windows), it goes thru the set - up perfectly, previews the correct document with the correct page count. Then when I print, it runs thru and puts out the right number of sheets. But all of them are blank.

Canon recommended Cleaning, and Deep Cleaning, but that has not helped.

Does anyone recognize this problem? How to fix it? What will it cost to have it fixed professionally?
