MG5320 Printer only prints blue images and NO TEXT

My printer is only printing blue images and no text.. ink wells are full and I have cleaned. I really don't want to buy a new printer. I did start filling the ink wells myself to save money and they worked at first. I have not done a second refill yet as it is not needed. Could this have anything to do with the error?

Hi mlc,

Please follow these steps:

 1.  Press <HOME> on your PIXMA MG5320.

 2.  Rotate the menu to Maintenance and press <OK>.

 3.  Press <OK> on Print nozzle check pattern.

 4.  Press <OK> on Yes.

The Nozzle Check will print.  Please compare your printout to the example below:

Does your test page look the same?

If not, please perform a few printhead cleanings:

 1.  Press <HOME> on your PIXMA MG5320.

 2.  Rotate the menu to Maintenance and press <OK>.

 3.  Press <OK> on Cleaning.

 4.  Press <OK> on Yes.

 5.  Press <OK> on Yes.

After a few cleanings, please print another Nozzle Check.  If your test page still does not print correctly, your PIXMA MG5320 would require service.
