Is there setup software for Pixma MP560 to make it work on Mac with Catalina iOS?

I got a new MacBook and wanted to load my Pixma MP560 onto it.  The setup does not work with Catalina.  Is there a solution to getting this printer installed on my new MacBook with Catalina IOS?

Hi dcoops58,

 

the MP560 has been retired and is not supported in Catalina. You can try adding the printer back on using Apples printer driver. You would need to go to printers and scanners and click the + button. Since there are no drivers, I cant promise the printer would be detected or if it would work with Apples printer driver. Other than there are no other work around that I can recommend.

 

If the printer is not detected, you qualify for the Canon Upgrade program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service or are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This program allows you the opportunity to purchase a replacement product discounted from the list price. Hello There, I have canon PIXMA MP560 and I am also not able to print it using my macbook which is upgraded to catalina. What are my options here?

The PIXMA MP560 is not supported with macOS v10.15.  You are eligible for Canon's Upgrade Program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service, or for some reason are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This option allows you a one-time opportunity to purchase a replacement product, discounted from the list price.
