Ink Absorber Almost Full on MG8120B

MLK
Apprentice

I have an MG8120B that is giving "Ink Abosorber is Almost Full" messages.  I have cleaned the absorbers but need to reset the counter to clear the error.  How do I do this?  (Note that this printer does not have a physical button for "Pause/Stop".)  Thanks, in advance for any help from the crew here!  MLK

Hi MLK,

To reset the counter, the printer would need to be taken to an electronic repair shop that can service printers. Please be advised that the MG8120B was retired in 2016 and service might not be available at at the repair shop. I would call and see if they are able to reset the waste ink counter.
