How do I get my MX922 to print in Grayscale from a Mac?

When I used a Dell with another MX922, it was a simple "check this box" type of thing. With my current printer, and using a Mac laptop (Pro), it tells me that Grayscale is "off" and there is no way for me to turn it "on." Help?!

Hello.

Please perform the following to create a Grayscale preset:

1.  Open the Applications folder.

2.  Open the Textedit program.  When the program is open, a small white window will appear.

3.  Click File at the top left corner and choose Print.

4.  In the Print dialog screen, look for the 'Quality and Media' options.

5.  In the Quality and Media menu, check the box labeled 'Grayscale'.

6.  Next, look up for the second dropdown menu, labeled 'Presets' or 'Standard'.

7.  Expand this menu and choose 'Save As'.

8.  Type in 'Grayscale' or 'Black and White', then click OK.

Once this has been done, ensure that the new preset is selected before printing. Simply change the preset back to 'Standard' for color printing.

I am having trouble with this too. After following the prompts in Text Edit, I don't have the option of Grayscale from the Media drop down. I used to be able to do this, and I'm not sure why it won't allow me to anymore. Would really appreciate any help to bring back my Grayscale/Draft option
