I have tried everything to get a decent scan of photos from this printer. I have never seen such terrible results. Is there any hope for this printer's scanner? The results are a little blurry, but mostly it is just the quality. My last Canon pixma had fantastic photo scans. Any tips that have helped anyone?

Can you provide specific examples? (images) of the poor quality?

Provide as much detail about the the images you are scannng a posssible.

A bit blurry, colors look almost cartoonish, edges not crisp
