Canon Pixma MX925 Scanner Problem

Hello Everyone

I have used the scanner many times before with my laptop and had no issues.

When I set the scanner away using my laptop the paper does feed through the printer and is left in the tray.

Once scanning has completed on the laptop it allows me to view the document but it is obviously blank as it has not gone through the scanner.

Something wrong with the mechanism to feed the document through?

Any suggestions how I can fix this problem?
