Canon Pixma MX922 does not print a pdf file fully.

I am trying to print out tickets for an event, which are in a pdf format.  The base info (company info and ads) print out fine, but the critical info on the show, (date, seating area and barcode)is not being printed.  Thus, it's a 2 layer form, but I have no problem printing out on my other printer, which is wired.  My Canon is wireless (LAN).

I am printing from my Mac, and also my iPhone, but the same problem happens.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I tried tech support and thought it was Canon, and they wanted $199 to resolve this.  Yikes!!!

Hi! Thanks for posting in the Canon Community Forum. I see that your MX922 is not printing the entire contents of a PDF file.

The MX922 will use the PGBK cartridge to print some contents of the PDF. For other parts of the PDF file, the printer might mix the color inks (C,M,Y, BK) to make shades of gray.

To start troubleshooting, I recommend that you print a nozzle check pattern to make sure all the inks are making it to the paper. Please follow the instructions for 1. Print the nozzle check pattern and 2. Examine the nozzle check pattern in the following article:

https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/index?page=content&id=ART143210

If the pattern comes out looking as it should, please write back. If the pattern is missing some of the colors (PGBK, C, M, Y, and BK), we recommend cleaning or deep cleaning the print head nozzles. The following articles contain steps for that:

https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/index?page=content&id=ART143210

I hope this information helps. Thanks again.
