Canon MG3200 printer Support code 1688 showing despite new cartridges installed?

I've recently changed the cartridges in my printer but sine then it won't work. The cartridges are correct but I get the error message above. Is there a reset that I can use which may resolve this...or any other tips please? many thanks, S

Yes me too! Why are there no asnwers here...?! 

With me it's my Canon MG3650 printer and the Support code 1688 showing despite new cartridges installed?

And if it's not saying that, it's saying that the printer is not connected..

Anyone able to asnwer this?
