Can not scan to my PC

Any time I try to iniciate a scan from printer to my PC this message appears.

I installed the software and I can print just fine, but can NOT scan

To have a better understanding of your issue, please let everyone know what printer you have, your computer's operating system (Windows Vista/7/8 or Mac OS 10.X), and if you are connected via USB or WI-FI.
