what does 1920 mean on my window

When I turn the camera on 1920 is displayed on my screen what does it mean

The resolution, what model camera?

Perhaps its the number of shots available. Does it change when you take photos?

No it does not.  I also have 17'  23" on the window.

Ok page 186 in your manual or go to Canon find your maual there, like I said the 1920 is the image quality setting, the 17' 23" is the remaing shooting time left in hours and minutes...hope that helps you out.
