elph 130is not being recognized by computer to upload photos, turned off and on, stopped and restart

elph 130 IS not being recongnized by computer to upload photos from camera. Turned on and off, stopped and restarted program. It worked yesterday now all of a sudden it stops??? Help. Please

When the camera is connected, make sure you press the PLAYBACK button to power on the camera. 

 

  1. Does your computer do anything after you do this, like make a beeping sound or display anything indicating it sees the camera?
  2. Does the camera connect to other computers?
  3. What devices do you have connected to your computer aside from the camera?
