SX50HS ISO will not go below 320 or above 1600. My second SX50HS works as it should. Any ideas?

Bought the camera from Canon refurbished. Have had the camera over a year with no problem but recently noticed the ISO settings will only show going from ISO 320 to upper limit of ISO 1600. The manual shows it should be from ISO 80 to ISO 6400. ANy ideas?

Check your camera settings and the shooting mode(s) that you are using.  It sounds like you have ISO set to automatic, which can behave differently in different shooting modes.

Thanks for the reply Waddizzle! I have checked all settings against the working SX50 and all seems to be in order.

Not using auto-iso and in manual mode. I am at the point of going to try and reset to default values. Other than that I would suspect a Firmware problem.

Little late here, but I had the same issue and solved it. For anybody out there still troubleshooting on a SX50 HS, I turned dynamic range correction off under func. settings.
