PowerShot SX120 is 10X optical Zoom

Took grandson to zoo, took lots of pics.  Viewed them on the way home.  Once I got home I put the SD card in my computer and there were no pictures.  And the folders had strange markings on them.   I put the SD card back into the camera and it said no images.  Is there something I can do to get these pictures back?

Have you had troubles before?

You have to try some card recovery software.

Also, get a new card and test it before you use it.

First, do not use the card again.

If you need to shoot any new pics, use a new card.

Shooting and saving new pics on the original card can overwirte what might possibly be recovered on the card.

Second, download and install SanDisk RescuPRO.

It is made for recovering a large range of files from all sorts of digtal media, SD cards, included.

Run it in evaluation mode first, to have it scan the card to see if the files are actually recoverable.

This is the no-cost mode.
