can't download pics to computer - get beep indicators, but no request to download - I think I'm missing some software somewhere - can anyone tell me what it is so I can download it?

The software for your camera can be found at

http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/digital_cameras/powershot_a_series/powershot_a3100_is.... Download the imagebrowser and/or the zoombrowser software for your operating sytem. Once you have them loaded, your computer should detect the camera when turned on and when connected to the USB port.
