I have a Canon PowerShot SX710 HS. The images are all in 180 DPI. How do I set it to 300 DPI?

I'm trying to take photos of my art for my portfolio and to make high quality prints. So you can see why I need them in 300 DPI. I'm looked through the manual and online and found no awnsers. Any help is much appreciated. Thank you!

It does not matter. the DPI only applies when you print. It is only a setting in the EXIF data. You have to use software on the computer to change it.

As long as you shot at the maximum resolution of the camera that is all you can do.

Your camera shoots 5184x3888 pixels

At 300 DPI, that is a 17 x 13" print.

At 180 dpi, that is a 29 x 22" print

At 72 dpi - the usual screen default - it is a 72 x 54 " print

It just depends what you set the printer at.
