Hi
Hadn't used my G7 MkII for a little while and went to upload some images via USB to my Macbook Pro running Mojave and its not working. When i physically connect, the camera wakes up (screen on) but I cannot see the Canon in File Manager and if I load any Canon Utilties software it says something like No Camera detected.
All the Macbook USB ports work with other devices, I have tried several cables that have also worked with other devices. I note that there is no driver on the Canon support site, its states its not required.
As G7 MkII WiFi has never worked to the Mac and never been resolved by Canon I now have no way of transferring images, Can you help please?

Is WiFi Turned off?
When it is plugged in, what happens when you open ImageCapture?

And you are using a good USB cable, right, not a non-signal charging one (All of these should be confiscated and burned in a large bonfire.)
