Canon Powershot Sx 160 Is Issue

I'm having trouble with the printing quality of my pictures with this camera. I tried printing a 5x7 and it was so pixel-y/blurry. I looked at other pictures I took on my computer and they are blurry too.

I've looked at all the trouble shooting options suggested int he manual.

Any other tips for me?

Break it down, please. I'm new at this.

I would look at the resolution you have the camera set to. Are you trying to fit more photos on the memory card? If so, that would cause "pixely blurry" photos when you print out. When you set the resolution lower, the camera uses less megapixels. Turn on the camera, then press the Func/Set button. Scroll through the menu and look for L, M1, M2, S or W on the left side, and set the camera to use L or M1. This should give you better output than if you use M2 or S. W is also okay for wide format photos.

Thank you so much!

My daughter likes to be the photographer so she must have accidentally changed it!

(It was set to S)

You're welcome. Glad to hear it was something simple!
