how do I download my pictures?

Read the manual, install the software that came with the camera & use the cable it came with too. You can also use a card reader to do it.

I am new at this, do not even know what a card reader is, but I figured it out, worked fine after I unplugged the printer.Thank you anyway.The manual was not very helpful, but I did find the answer somewhere at the forum.
